It is a 3 minute walk to catch the ferry to downtown Auckland and the Britomart train station. Explore historic Devonport and all it has to offer, cafes, bars, restaurants, shops, art galleries and an Art Deco movie theatre. Stroll along the waterfront and visit our naval museum, wander up to North head and explore the WW2 tunnels or
climb Mt Victoria and enjoy the 360 views of Auckland.
The space
Duckinn is a private self contained fully furnished apartment including linen. The apartment has its own entrance and it is only 200 meters from the main road with the Village shops. Downstairs is an entrance foyer with space to hang coats. There are two bedrooms with the master having direct access to a small private deck. There is a separate toilet and a full size bathroom with walk in shower and vanity. The laundry is behind sliding doors in the bathroom with a full size washing machine. Upstairs is a large sunny open plan area with views towards Mt Victoria. There is the TV lounge, the dining table and a fully equipped kitchen. The upstairs area has air conditioning.
Guest access
Guests have exclusive access to all of Duckinn and the side deck at the rear of the property .
Interaction with guests
Craig and Jackie live in the front house on the property and are happy to offer local knowledge and travel advice within New Zealand. Craig works from home in his downstairs office so is home and available for most of the day. You will meet our dog Gus, a standard Poodle who does love to greet people at the gate. He is a big softy and loves pats and cuddles.
